Welcome to my page!

How fast time flies and finally I am on my second part of internship. The last time I had my internship was in Home Radio for my communication related field. It was very fun learning experience there. I enjoyed working with the staff for three (3) months that’s why I missed them so much. They treated me like a part of their small family. There wasn’t a day that I didn’t burst into laughter. Truly, I enjoyed a lot. But all good things must come to an end. I bid farewell to them and thanked them for all the things I experienced and most especially the fun. However, the learning must not stop there. I have to move on and try to venture into new, untested waters. Consequently, this website will show the progresses and developments that I have undergone for my internship. This will serve as a documentation of my learning experiences in the second part of my internship.

Moving on, for the second part of my internship I wanted to experience a very different work environment than my past professional experience. I am now facing a new challenge, a new workplace culture as a fresh intern. For the past three (3) years, I witness the celebration of the Cebu Business Month which is usually held at the Ayala Terraces. It was an attraction to me for there are also celebrities and Cebu business consuls who celebrate with it; hence, I chose to have my second internship at the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This non-stock, non-profit corporation serves as the engine of Cebu’s business growth and global competitiveness. It strengthens the capabilities of the members through advocacy, linkages and synergy for the global competitiveness of Cebu and its people. However, if you want to peruse more of the organization you can visit its website: https://cebuchamber.org.

Fortunately, I am assigned at the Business Development-Cebu Business Month Department (BD-CBMD). All my desires were answered upon knowing that I will be assigned at the said department. Although the next celebration of the Cebu Business Month will be on June next year, I am still happy for I will be part of the planning and preparation for next year’s event.  On the contrary, my internship doesn’t revolve around the preparation on the next CBM but also I am part of the Trade Mission to South America where I helped in making the kits for the trade mission and it wasn’t easy for those kits will be given to business consuls from foreign countries, thus, they should be presented well.

I am still on my third week of internship and I’m still looking forward for more learning experiences to come, more challenges that will help in developing my personality and professionalism within me. Hopefully, CCCI won’t fail in meeting my expectations in them and also I won’t fail in giving out what I’ve got to help the organization in meeting its goals, mission and vision.
